Napoli Set To Spend €45 Million On Lookman In June

Italian Serie A giants Napoli are preparing to compete with several European and Saudi clubs for the signing of Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman during the summer transfer window, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Sporting Director Giovanni Manna is planning not only for the present but also for the future. He has a range of profiles in mind for both the January and June transfer windows.

The former Juventus player is keen to capitalize on any favorable opportunities for the club. One of the players Manna particularly admires is Ademola Lookman.

The winger faced a challenging summer, having stayed at Atalanta against his wishes. Lookman was eager for a change of scenery, but the demands from Atalanta were considered excessive by interested clubs, most notably Inter.

While Lookman could be a valuable addition for Napoli, it seems unlikely that a move will happen in January.

However, Aurelio De Laurentiis' club reportedly intends to pursue the winger in June. Atalanta is expected to sell him for around €45 million.

Notably, Antonio Conte has expressed his support for Lookman in discussions with Manna and De Laurentiis.
