Napoli To Battle Milan For Samuel Chukwueze's Signature

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze is on the radar of Italian Serie A champions Napoli following his last season’s superb form with Villarreal in the Spanish LaLiga, which earned him the best African player award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rudy Galetti, an Italian Sports Journalist and Transfer Expert broke the news on social media app, Twitter on Sunday.

His tweet read: “The Champions of Italy are monitoring the Nigerian winger but - to date - the price tag set by Villarreal is considered too high; Jeremie Doku of French Ligue One side Rennes is alternative on the list, along with Hakim Ziyech that wants to leave Chelsea at any cost.”

Chukwueze, had been linked to AC Milan but with the possible farewell of Lozano, the winger is one of the options under evaluation by Napoli.

The Yellow Submarine is asking just over €35m for the Nigerian but Milan is keen to wait until August to see if the Spanish club will lower their price. The player is open to a potential signing.
