Nasarawa State League Final Holds February 10, As Governor's Cup Set To Kickoff

The Nasarawa State Football Association (NSFA) has announced February 10th as the final date for 2022/2023 State League, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The date was announced immediately after the meeting between the State FA board and the FA Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali.

According to Alkali, all modalities are already in place for a smooth finale.

"We've been working round the clock to see that we conclude the State League to start preparing for the forthcoming season."

Agatu United, Aza will battle Golden Boys of Lafia at the Federal University Lafia football pitch.

Dignitaries expected to grace the final includes the Executive Governor Of Nasarawa State, Engr. A.A. Sule, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, Chairman of Chairmen, Alhaji Ahmed Fresh and all 36 F.A Chairmen plus that of the F.C.T.

While also speaking, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali also disclosed that the Engr. A. A Sule Governor's Cup will kick off in February as teams from different local governments will battle out for top prizes. 

Nasarawa State has 13 Local Governments and all will not be left out as each will present a team to compete amongst themselves as the Nasarawa State FA continues to develop sports at the grassroots level.
