By Oluwayemi Omolagba

The event of the last four minutes in Lafia during the Nasarawa versus Remo Stars game on Saturday has overshadowed the beauty of the game itself after Nasarawa United players stamped Remo Stars players in his mouth, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

With the scores level at 1-1 after the fourth official signalled 4 minutes additional time, Andy Okpe of Remo and Ini Edem of Nasarawa both contested for the on the air, a situation that landed both players on the pitch but on his way up, Ini Edem stamped Andy Okpe who was still down on the pitch with his both, tearing the latter's mouth in the process.

A poor sportsmanship act by Nasarawa United's Ini Edem which is should not be tolerated in the league.

Football is known to be a fair game but when emotions leads to attitudes like this, the culprit should be made to severely pay for his actions.

As we await the actions of the League Management Company disciplinary committee, be reminded that the game eventually ended Nasarawa United 1:1 Remo Stars, meaning both sides shared the spoils between themselves both home and away having played a goalless draw in Ikhene earlier in the season.
