Nathan Tella Fires Brace In Leverkusen Win

Despite the absence of striker Victor Boniface, German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen continue to wax stronger, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

They played Darmstadt on Saturday afternoon and another Nigerian international Nathan Tella was the hero.

Tella joined Leverkusen last summer from the English Championship side Southampton and he has been a vital player for the club.

The Nigerian International opened the scoring in the 33rd minute before completing his brace in the 53rd minute to secure full points for the away side 

Tella made his debut for the Super Eagles during the World Cup qualifier but was unable to make the team to the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
