Nathaniel, Ogazi, Others Shine At NCAA Championships In Oregon

Nigerian athletes at the ongoing NCAA Championships in Oregon are smashing new personal best records in various athletics events, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Ezekiel Nathaniel was in unstoppable form during the 400m hurdles semifinal storming to victory with a blistering 47.86s, a new Personal Best, Nigerian National Record, and the fastest time in the NCAA this season.
Also, Samuel Ogazi stormed to victory in his 400m semifinal clocking an impressive 44.77s.
He finished ahead of DeSean Boyce, who came second in 45.15s, and Auhmad Robinson, was third in 45.35s to become the fastest time across all heats.
Another athlete, Kanyinsola Ajayi stormed to a new Personal Best of 9.92s to win his 100m semifinal at the NCAA Championships in Oregon.
He qualified for the final with the fastest overall time and is now officially the 4th fastest Nigerian man in history over the distance.
Sunday Israel Okon delivered a brilliant performance at the NCAA Championships clocking 10.07s to equal his Personal Best (PB) and secure a spot in the men’s 100m final.
He finished second in his semifinal, just behind Jelani Watkins who won the race in 10.02s.
