National Wheelchair Tennis Tournament Serves Up Three Weeks of Action

 The Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), VEMP, and DavNotch, has officially launched the 2025 edition of the National Wheelchair Tennis Championship at the National Stadium, Surulere, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The tournament, which began on Thursday, September 25, is scheduled to run over three weeks, with match days set as follows:

Week 1: September 25–28

Week 2: September 29 – October 1

Week 3: October 2–4

Daily matches commence at 10:00 AM, drawing participants from across the country.

This annual event underscores the NTF’s commitment to inclusivity in sports, offering a competitive platform for wheelchair athletes to demonstrate their talent, perseverance, and dedication to the sport of tennis.

"The championship not only highlights athletic excellence but also reinforces our goal of building a more inclusive tennis community in Nigeria," said a representative of the Federation.

Spectators, fans, and members of the public are encouraged to attend and show their support for the athletes throughout the competition.
