By Gbenga Gboyega

The Nationwide League One Youth League for U-19s has been postponed by the League's management, as announced by the media department, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.

The Youth League was scheduled to start in eight days - the 7th of June, 2023 - but is now rescheduled for an undisclosed date due to logistical reasons.

According to the statement released by the official handle of the NLO, a later date is expected to be announced sooner, bearing in mind the inconvenience the postponement may cause for teams and fans alike.

@theNLO on Twitter: "This is to inform you that the Division 2 NLO U19 Youth League scheduled to commence on the 7th of June 2023 has been postponed to a later date. This decision was made due to logistics reasons beyond our control.

"We understand the inconveniences this may have caused, but we assure you that we are working round the clock to resolve the issue and announce a new date for the commencement of the NLO U19 Youth League soonest.

Recall that the NLO introduced the Youth League for the year at a Media Briefing late last month, on the 26th of April, 2023, at the Sports Bar in Teslim Balogun Stadium, to discover talent and potential that will earn promotion to the age-grade teams, and subsequently the Super Eagles in future.

One of which is "13-year-old Raheem Salaudeen, who is a shining example and one reason the NLO created the Youth League that'll debut this season." @theNLO.

Bsnsports.com.ng will keep up with updates on the rescheduled season.
