Navy Captain Haruna Wins NMS @70 Golf Competition

Navy Captain Sunday Haruna on Saturday emerged overall winner of the Nigeria Military School ex-boys Association golf tournament which took place at the Tukur Yusuf Buratai Golf Course, Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Haruna, handicap 8 player, rounded off the one-day golf tournament scoring 77 gross, and netted 68 to outplay others to emerge the winner in the 2024 NMS @70 Golf competition.

The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, TY Buratai teed off the championship to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the NMS Ex-boys Association establishment.

The event was put together by the NMS Ex-boys Association which attracted a vast array of golfers from far and wide including 50 ex-boys who are also golf players.

Other sporting activity lines up for the 70th Anniversary of the Nigeria Military School, Zaria is a 5-aside football tournament named Ogalla Cup which will be held between 17-19 May, 2024 at the Ahmed Musa Center Kaduna.

A total of Twenty nine million, Six hundred and thirty thousand naira (#29,630,000) was donated at the fundraising for the launching of the emblem which came up at the end of the anniversary in Abuja on Saturday night.
