Ndidi To Hit Nigeria For Late Dad's Funeral

Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi should arrive Nigeria today ahead his late dad's funeral, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Recall Sunday Ndidi, passed on January 27th after he was involved in a fatal car crash.

The Ndidis, did announce the burial arrangements for February 12, 2026, in Umunede, Delta State.

Beşiktaş who began preparations for their away match against Başakşehir in the 22nd week of the Süper Lig with a training session on Monday morning, announced that the Nigerian had been granted permission to attend the funeral.

The Turkish club announced on Monday that Wilfred Ndidi, whose father passed away, will travel to Nigeria.

The statement reads:"Our player Wilfred Ndidi will travel to Nigeria on (February 10th) to attend the funeral of his late father, with the knowledge and permission of our technical staff."
