Nduka Odizor Honoured With Lifetime Achievement Award

Nigeria’s greatest-ever tennis player, Nduka Odizor, has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club (LLTC), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Odizor received the prestigious recognition during a recent tournament hosted by the historic Lagos club, celebrating his outstanding contribution to Nigerian tennis and his remarkable career on the international circuit.

The former ATP world No. 52 remains one of Nigeria’s most accomplished tennis players, having competed at the highest level of the professional game.

Odizor holds the distinction of being the only Nigerian player to have competed at all four Grand Slam tournaments — the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.

He also achieved the highest-ever ATP singles ranking by a Nigerian player, reaching No. 52 in the world during his professional career.

The Lifetime Achievement Award further highlights Odizor’s enduring legacy in Nigerian tennis and his place among the country’s most influential tennis personalities.
