Netherlands Beat South Africa In FIFA Women's World Cup 2nd Round

Netherlands were too much to handle for the Bayana Bayana of South Africa as Holland beat their Second Round opponents 2-0, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Roord J 9th minute opener and Beerensteyn 68th minute goal were all the Netherlands needed to overpower South Africa and qualified for the quarterfinals.

Holland had a goal disallowed in between the two goals. The South Africans did all their best to reduce the tally but Thembi Ktaghlana lost of composure in front of goal denied them at least a goal in the encounter.

Three African countries which includes Nigeria and Morocco with just exited South Africa qualified for the Round of 16. With South Africa lost to Holland, Nigeria and Morocco must brace up to defeat their Second Round opponents.
