Five-times FIFA World Cup champions Brazil will be without their talismanic forward Neymar in their next two games in Qatar after he suffered an ankle sprain, the national team doctor has confirmed.

BSNSports.com.ng gathered that the PSG forward will be joined on the sidelines for the remaining group games by Juventus right-back Danilo.

Neymar left Brazil’s opening 2-0 win over Serbia in the 80th minute on Thursday night and was later photographed with a very swollen-looking ankle, while Danilo suffered a similar injury.

â€œNeymar and Danilo went through a MRI on Friday afternoon and we found ligament damage in the ankle of both of them,” said Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar.
