31-year-old Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi has joined the Canadian side Ottawa Rapids FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okobi makes her return to football following the birth of her first child.

Okobi’s professional football career has been illustrious. She began her journey with Delta Queens, where she gained attention for her midfield prowess.

In 2015, she became the third Nigerian player to join the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States, signing with Washington Spirit.

Okobi has played for Nigeria’s national teams at various international levels, from the U-17 to the senior team.
