Niger, Benin, Two Others To Play WAFU B U-15 Semifinal As Nigeria, Ghana Miss Out

Burkina Faso will face Benin Republic in the first semifinal of the 2025 WAFU-B U-15 Secondary School Championship, taking place in Ouagadougou, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The host nation booked their place in the last four after topping Group A with four points, securing one win and one draw.
Benin Republic advanced as runners-up from Group B with three points, having recorded one victory and one defeat in the group stage.
In the second semifinal, Côte d’Ivoire will take on Niger Republic at the Stade du 4 Août. Côte d’Ivoire finished as winners of Group B with three points from two matches, while Niger qualified as Group A runners-up with two points after drawing both of their group games.
Both semifinal fixtures are scheduled for today (Wednesday), while the third-place match and final will be played on Thursday.
Notably, regional heavyweights Nigeria and Ghana failed to progress to the semifinal stage, exiting the competition in the group phase.
