Nigeria, DR Congo Ready for Decisive Playoff After Semifinal Victories

The Super Eagles will hold their final training session on Saturday evening at the Institut Royal de Formation in Rabat as preparations continue for Sunday’s FIFA World Cup playoff final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with the first 15 minutes open to media coverage. However, there will be no pre-match press conference, as organizers of the playoff series did not make provisions for one.
Nigeria advanced to the final after a convincing 4–1 victory over Gabon in Thursday night’s semifinal. A few hours later, DR Congo secured their place in the decisive match by edging Cameroon.
The final will take place on Sunday at 8 p.m. (Nigerian time) at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
