Nigeria, Four Other African Countries To Play At Minifootball World Cup In UAE

The official kick off date of 2023 World Minifootball (WMF) World Cup which will take place in the spring of next year in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates has been announced, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The World Cup kicks off on 28th of April until the 6th of May 2023, and 24 teams from different continents will compete in the Competition.
The African Confederation has approved the results of the 2021 African Nations Cup in Nigeria. The results will be used for the five African countries that qualified for the championship in UAE.
The Five nominees are: Egyptian national team as African champions, Libyan national team as the champion's summer, Ghana national team as 3rd position holders, Ivory Coast team, 4th place holders and Nigerian national team 5th position holders, while African Confederation will use UN correspondent to discuss necessity of granting Africa an invitation card to seat 6.
Speaking with BSN Sports, Chairman Nigeria Mini Football Association Ogun state, Adeyemi Adeyinka made this known adding that the Nigeria Minifootball Association has begun early preparations for early camping of the Nigeria national team, the Spartan Eagles for successful outing at the tournament.
The Executive board member of the NMA shall convey an emergency meeting that will discuss fully on How to source for funding, sponsorship and early camping for the team.
