Nigeria and Jordan intensified preparations on Monday ahead of their international friendly scheduled for Tuesday in Turkey, as both sides fine-tune strategies for the encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria, under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle, comes into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Iran in their opening game played in Antalya last Friday.
21 players participated in Monday’s training session, with the exception of defender Bruno Onyemaechi, who was granted leave to be with his family following the birth of his child, Calvin Bassey who pulled out due to injury, Maduka Okoye and Semi Ajayi who were excused after sustaining injury .
The Super Eagles concluded their preparations on Monday with a final training session at 5:00 p.m. ahead of the clash, which is set to kick off on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Nigeria time.
The friendly provides both teams with an opportunity to assess squad depth and tactical setups as they continue their preparations for upcoming competitive fixtures.
