Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro has heaped praises on the team for their resilience against a very good Angolan team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles secured a spot in the semi-final with a 1-0 win over Angola with Ademola Lookman scoring the only goal of the game.

During the post-match reaction, the Portuguese coach admitted that the Palancas Negras is a good team.

" They created more chances and they got the first corner, their ball also hit the post which represented the quality of their ( Angola) team.

Once again we didn't concede a goal and we scored once again, we created more chances, especially in the first half and we controlled the opponent.

In the second half, we wanted to create more chances in the attack but the Angolans put more people in their defence.

Angola also put more players on the attack but we could have scored more goals 

But I congratulate my players for the victory well deserved and also Angola for the good game", he said..
