Nigeria Begin FIBA U-19 Women's Basketball World Cup With Victory

Nigeria's Junior D'Tigress started their FIBA U-19 Women's Basketball World Cup on a winning note with a 93-88 points win over China, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Nora Ezike delivered a flawless performance on her U-19 debut, scoring 25 points on a perfect 8/8 shooting and 9/11 from the free-throw line to lead Nigeria to a historic win over China.

Tobenna Nweke contributed 15pts, Jessica Ajayi scored 10pts while Francisca Chukwu had 7 points and 10rebs while their next game is against Canada on Sunday.
