Nigeria-born Benin Republic forward, Ishola Junior Olaitan has said that his team has perfected their tactics to pick at least one point in Uyo on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Speaking exclusively with www.bsnsports.com.ng, Junior as he's fondly called said: "the team's aim is to get the three maximum points in Nigeria. There is no doubt that it will be a tough game but, we are prepared for what the Super Eagles will throw at us. We will build on the confidence on the victory in Abidjan in the last game between the two countries. To our advantage, we have a coach who know the strength and weakness of Super Eagles players."

The Super Eagles will host the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in the Matchday 1 of the 2025 African Nations Cup on Saturday, 7th September, 2024 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.

This will be the eigth meeting between Nigeria and Benin, with the Super Eagles winning six times and the Cheetahs winning just twice.
