Nigeria Captain Shines In Zamalek Win Over South Africa Cape Town Tigers

Nigeria Captain, Ike Diogu has greatly contributed to the success of defending champions Zamalek in their 2022 Basketball Africa League (BAL) Campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian had a good game against the Cape Town Tigers of South Africa at the Hassan Moustafa Sports Arena in Cairo on Tuesday night.

Diogu scored 18 points 4 rebounds and a block in Zamalek’s second game which saw the Egyptian champions outscore the South African champions 101-77 points.

Diogu was the top performer for Zamalek in their opening game with 17 points, and 5 rebounds in 24 minutes of play, leading the Egyptian side to an 80-63 win over South Sudanese outfit Cobra Sports on Saturday.

Former NBA players Ike Diogu and DJ Strawberry are using all their experience to help Basketball Africa League champions Zamalek in their title defence.
