Nigeria recorded their first victory at the 2026 African U18 Beach Volleyball Development Cup in Sally, Senegal, defeating Gambia 2–0, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian team dominated both sets, winning 21–9 in the first set before sealing the match with a 21–13 victory in the second.

The result gives Nigeria their first win of the competition as they continue their campaign in the U18 Beach Volleyball Development Cup.
