Nigeria Clinches IHF African Continental Trophy, Qualify For Intercontinental Phase

Nigeria's Women U18 team on Saturday evening emerged winners of the IHF African Continental trophy beating Guinea in the final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side on Thursday defeated Rwanda 38-30 in the semi-final of the championship with Prudence Onyinyechukwu Samuel winning the most valuable player.

They faced Guinea in the final on Saturday and dispatched them in less than 1 hour.

The girls defeated Guinea 33-18 to be champion of Africa and qualify for the IHF Trophy Intercontinental phase.
