Nigeria’s D’Tigress made a statement in their FIBA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a commanding victory over Colombia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

From the first whistle, the African champions asserted their dominance, taking the opening quarter 18-12. 

They continued to control the pace in the second quarter, leading 34-29 at halftime.

 By the third quarter, Nigeria had firmly established control, and they closed out the game with a resounding 70-37 triumph.

The win underscores D’Tigress’ status as Africa’s premier women’s basketball team as they look ahead to the rest of the qualifying series.
