Nigeria Customs Depart For Tunisia Ahead Of African Club Championship

The Nigeria Customs Service have listed a 16 man contingent for the 2022 African Club Championship in Tunisia on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.


The 2022 African Men’s Club Championship is scheduled for 5th to 18th May, 2022 in the city of Kelibia, Tunisia.


The team consists of 12 players which includes; Most Valuable Player of the Super Cup, Sunny Akapson, experienced Mathew Ejeh, Isaac Geoffrey, Philip Akande, Princewill Okoi, Samson Akinbami and Captain of the side, Usman Ado.


Others are; Former U19 stars, Emmanuel Udah, Bruno Ibeh and Mayowa Bello. New signings, Abdulquadri Jayeola, Mayowa Bello, Shikirulahi Oyedepo will be making their debut at the Club Championship.


The leader of delegation is Chibuzor Onikeku while the coaching crew consists of Jonah Adamu and Eric Kefas.


The Sports Secretary, Nigeria Customs Service, Samuel Onikeku charged the team to be good ambassadors of the service and make the country proud.


Onikeku revealed that the service is solidly behind them urging the players to put in their best against their various opponents.


He said, “The Nigeria Customs Service have played it’s role by ensuring you attend the Club Championship; I urge you to be good ambassadors. This is an opportunity to put your names on the map in Africa.
