Nigeria Customs Service Edge Nigeria Correctional Service 3-1

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) secured a hard-fought 3-1 win over Nigeria Correctional Service (NCos) in a thrilling volleyball match.

The 2025 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League final phase commenced from  December 1 to December 

13 at Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja

The match was a great display of volleyball, with both teams putting up a good fight. 

The crowd was treated to some exciting rallies and impressive plays, making it a thrilling match to watch.

The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams displaying impressive skills and determination. 

NCS took an early lead, winning the first set 25-21. They continued to dominate the second set, winning it 25-18.

However, Nigeria Correctional Service refused to give up, and they fought back strongly to win the third set 25-18.

The fourth set was a nail-biter, with both teams trading points. In the end, NCS emerged victorious, winning the set 28-26 and the match ended 3-1.

The win is a significant boost for NCS, showcasing their strength and determination in the competition.

They will be looking to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.

NAF rockets defeated Kada Kings 3-0 (25-15, 27-25, 25-16)

,Kano Pillars lost to CNS Spikers 0-3 (22-25, 20-25, 19-25).

Others saw NSCDC lost to UCEM 1-3 (13-25, 17-25, 26-24, 17-25) and Offa VC lost to NPF 0-3 (23-25, 15-25, 17-25)

COAS Spikers beat Sunshine Spikers (3-2)

3rd set: 23-25

4th set: 25-13

5th set: 15-8

In the Women:

Kada Emeralds vs Life Camp (1-3)

1st set: 19-25

On Saturday is the rest day for all the teams participating. 

A total of 23 teams are participating at the 2025 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League final phase in Abuja.
