Nigeria Face Ecuador-Korea Republic Round of 16 Winners In Quarterfinal

Flying Eagles of Nigeria will face the winners between Ecuador and Korea Republic in the quarterfinal of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup slated for Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Korea Republic will trade tackles with Ecuador for quarterfinal ticket, the game will hold on Thursday at 10:00pm (Nigerian time) at the Santiago del Estero.

The Flying Eagles bounced back to winning ways after their 0-2 loss to Brazil to end Argentina's 10 match unbeaten run in the Round of 16 played on Wednesday night.

Argentina had maintained their 10 game unbeaten run from 2001 when they won 7 matches and won three games in 2023 before Nigeria put an end to its dominance. The two times FIFA U20 world cup finalists will have to wait till end of today to know their quarter-final foe.
