Nigeria Handball Team Claims Bronze At ANOCA Games In Togo

Nigeria women's national handball team finished on the podium of the ANOCA Games as they claimed the bronze medal after defeating Ghana in the third place match on Thursday in Lome , Togo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Coach Yusuf Abdukadir tutored team comfortably defeated Ghana 29-16 in the third place match to earn bronze medal.

Nigeria had played two matches in the preliminary stage on Wednesday, winning one and losing the other to Benin Republic and Ivory Coast respectively which ensured they meet Ghana, who had lost to Bukina Faso 27-22 before defeating Togo 36-19 in the preliminary stage 

Ivory Coast won the gold medal after defeating Bukina Faso 28-16.
