Nigeria In Pot 4 Ahead Of Women's World Draw

The Nigeria U19 Women's basketball team will know their group opponents at the 2025 FIBA World Cup on 4th February, 2025 when the draw will be conducted, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draw will hold at the Brno, Czechia and will be conducted by the country's former national team stars, Ivana Becerova and Eva Viteckova and will be streamed live on the official tournament website and YouTube channels.

The 16 participating teams have been divided into four pots based on their strength and current FIFA World Ranking.

Nigeria is therefore housed in Pot 4 with Hungary, Argentina and Brazil. Pot 1 has Czech Republic, USA, France and Canada while Pot 2 get Australia, China, Spain and Israel. Pot 3 has Mali, Portugal, Japan and Korea Republic.

Nigeria U19 team will not face any team in Pot 4, but will in the same group with any other three teams from other pots.
