Nigeria Misses Out Again As FIFA Releases Referees Instructors List For 2023

Nigeria referees continue to be left out of both African and World soccer recognition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Apart from the early rounds of the CAF inter-club competition, Nigerian referees have missed out on officiating in the international competition.

The World Soccer ruling body on Saturday afternoon released the list of its referee's instructors for 2023 and no Nigerian made the list.

Out of 18 instructors picked from Africa, South Africa produced 3, Egypt 2, Rwanda 2, Cameroon, Seychelles, Cote d'Ivoire, Gabon, Tunisia Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Senegal had representatives.

The picked instructors are expected to train and retrain the serving referees ahead of the next major international competitions.
