Nigeria One Of The Fastest Growing Countries In Cricket - ICC Development Manager

International Cricket Council Global Development Manager William Glen Wright has tagged Nigeria as one of the fastest-growing countries in the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Glen Wright was in the country during the week on a 3-day working visit where he got to check the level of growth of the game and also met the stakeholders.

He arrived in the country on Wednesday and he was opportune to witness the starting of the ICC U19 men's qualifiers currently going at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

He also met with Sports Minister Sunday Dare and had a fruitful discussion on how the game can be improved in the country.

While departing, he was elated to have visited Nigeria and hoped the country do more to achieve its potential.

"Nigeria is one of our fastest growing members and has bold ambitions.

"It was fascinating to visit Nigeria this week to learn more about their work, meet with stakeholders and discuss how we can help them achieve their enormous potential. Very exciting", he said.
