Nigeria Ouster: Uzoho Tender Apology To Nigeria Fans

Following a woeful impressive performance in the second leg match against Black Stars of Ghana, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has tendered an unreserved apology to Nigerians, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.


Black Stars held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in Abuja which automatically eliminated the Super Eagles from taking part in the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar.


Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper via his social media handle, disclosed that he regretted what happened in the game but promise to continue giving his best for the country.


" The past couple of days have been the most difficult time in my lifetime.


I wanted to take my nation to Qatar but rather I did the opposite, I know what football means to you all and myself.


I can't promise to make mistakes again but I can promise not to give up and bring back those smiles on your faces, thank you for your support," he stated.
