Nigeria Ouster From World Cup Failure Of The Leadership Of The NFF - Chairman Senate Committee On Sports

Reactions continue to trail Nigeria's absence from the world biggest football competition which is the World Cup slated for November to December later this year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Latest to comment on the absurd situation is the House Committee Chairman on Sports, Senator Obinna Ogba, who expressed sadness over the situation while also apportioning blames to the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation.
"I feel bad, I feel as good as you feel. Its a very disheartening issue but there is nothing anybody can do. It has happened it has happened. I think its a failure of the leadership of the Federation and both the coaching crew, the players everybody should share from the blame."
He said it Is impossible for only him to pass vote of no confidence on the leadership of the NFF .
"How do you think its possible for me to pass vote of no confidence to the president of Federation, me alone, if there is a board meeting we discuss it. We're not in the board meeting now," this he said while responding to a question asking if he will pass a vote of no confidence in the leadership of the NFF Board."
The Black Stars of Ghana on away goal rule picked the 2022 World Cup ticket at the expense of Super Eagles of Nigeria after a 1-1 aggregate.
