Nigeria Strike Sensation Claims Montpellier Monthly Award For October

Akor Adams, has been voted Montpellier Player of the Month of October following his superb goal-scoring form during the month in review, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Akor Adams scored a brace for Montpellier to help them secure a comfortable 3-0 victory over Toulouse at the Stade de la Mosson last Sunday.

From the total votes cast by fans of the French Ligue 1 club, the Nigerian was tied on points (6) with Joris Chotard but stands out from his

teammate in the total number of votes

on the matches in question (+163).

Mousa Tamari completed the podium for the month. 

Joris Chotard, on his part, joined Mousa Tamari at the top of the general classification for the 2023/24

season.

The 23-year-old who joined the club this summer, has been crushing in his first season with Montpellier.

He has recorded seven (7) goals in nine (9) matches and scored a brace in three (3) of them, averaging a goal every 101 minutes.
