Nigeria Team Arrive Morocco, To Face Hosts, Cameroon, Angola In Africa Club Championship

Nigeria top tier handball club, Plateau Peacocks are set to make Nigeria proud as they participate in the Africa Club Handball Championship in Laayoun, Morocco.

Plateau Peacocks, who finished third at the Handball Premier League 2023 women's category will be participating in the club championship in group C alongside; Petro Atletico of Angola, Andre Nziko of Cameroon and US Nousasser of Morocco.

The Coach Yusuf Abdukadir's led team are already in Casablanca en route to Laayoun wherein they will play their first match against Petro Atletico of Angola on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, Coach Yusuf Abdukadir who spoke to HFM Media from Casablanca said they have the support of the Plateau State government led by Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) to do well and they will ensure they repay the gestures by being a good representative of the country.
