Nigeria Tops 2024 AMGA Medals Table as Algeria Prepares to Host Next Edition

Nigeria's Armed Forces topped the medals table at the 2024 Africa Military Games, clinching a total of 234 medals as the competition concluded on Saturday night, according to BSNSports.com.ng.

Team Nigeria secured 114 gold, 65 silver, and 45 bronze across 21 sports. Algeria, the next host nation, finished in second place with 96 medals—53 gold, 22 silver, and 31 bronze. Kenya took third place, earning 59 medals in total.

Ghana, Ethiopia, and Tunisia rounded out the top six, finishing fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. South Africa, Libya, and Uganda followed in seventh, eighth, and ninth, while Tanzania secured the tenth spot.

Looking ahead, Algeria will host the 3rd edition of the Africa Military Games.
