Nigeria’s U-12 girls have emerged champions of West Africa after an impressive performance at the regional tennis competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The young Nigerian team, comprising Mabubat Rasaki, Dabira Oluwaseyi and Chisimdi Afam-Mbonu, secured the regional title and earned qualification for the African Junior Tennis Championship scheduled to hold later this year.

The feat underlines the growing strength of junior tennis in Nigeria, with the youngsters now set to represent the country at the continental level.
