Nigeria Unveils Mascot, Jerseys Ahead Of African Armwrestling Championship

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) have unveiled the mascot and jerseys ahead of the 14th African Armwrestling Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The event, held in Abuja, was attended by an array of dignitaries, sports administrators, government officials, and corporate stakeholders—all united by a shared vision: to make Abuja 2025 the best edition of the African Armwrestling Championship in history.

The unveiled mascot—a symbol of power, resilience, and unity—was described as an embodiment of the values that define African athletes, while the team jerseys were celebrated as emblems of pride, sacrifice, and national representation.

Nigeria is set to host athletes from over 20 countries this July 23–27 in Abuja.
