Nigeria Volleyball Federation Appoints New Assistant Coach For Women's Team

To improve and stabilise the team, the Nigeria Volleyball Federation has appointed a new assistant coach for the senior women's team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The federation through its social media handle on Sunday announced former national team player Priscilla Agera as the new assistant coach.

"One of Nigeria's most decorated volleyball players, Priscilla Agera has been appointed assistant coach of Nigeria Senior Women's Volleyball Team," the statement said.

Agera remained one of the most decorated player of the team winning a gold medal with Nigeria at the 2003 All African Games (COJA) and also at the 2015 All African Games (beach volleyball).

She is expected to bring her wealth experience to bear on the team.
