Nigeria Vs Ghana: Super Eagles Resume Training With 19 Players

Super Eagles B on Tuesday resumed training with nineteen players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 The session was held in the evening at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo.

The team will observe no Christmas holiday as they hold only one training session on Wednesday, 25th December at the same training pitch, this time with increased number of players as five of those who could not meet up with Ghana trip have been called up to join their team mates.

Having played a 0-0 draw with Ghana's Black Galaxies in the first leg in Accra, the home based Eagles need an outright win to pick the 2025 Championship of African Nations Cup (CHAN) ticket, as overall winners between Nigeria and Ghana represent WAFU B at the biennial competition.

The second leg will hold at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Saturday at 5:00pm.
