Nigeria Women's League Goes On 2 Weeks Break

Due to the fast-approaching general elections, the organiser of the Nigeria Women Football League has announced a 2-weeks break for the season, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Matchday 9 of the league went down across the country during the week before the league organiser met to decide on what to do about the upcoming elections period.

The football body via its social media handles on Friday announced that the Matchday 10 and 11 of the league have been postponed to the 1st and 15th of March.

After Matchday 9, Delta Queens led group A with 17 points from 7 matches and Edo Queens topped group B with 15 points from 7 games.
