Nigeria at Commonwealth Games: Quadri crashes out in semin final

Africa’s highest-ranked table tennis player, Quadri Aruna, has crashed out of the men’s singles event at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Brimingham, BSNSports.com.ng reports.


Aruna, who reached the quarter-finals with a nice build performance at the early stage of the competition could not replicate the same at the Semi final


Aruna Quadri fell to Achanta Sharath Kamal 2-1.


Achanta took the first set 11-9 while the world number 12 dug deep in the second set to take it 11-7.



The third set which was entertaining saw the Indian take it 15-13.
