Nigeria face Benin Republic in U20 Women’s WAFU B semifinal

Nigeria U20 women's national team will trade tackles with Benin Republic in the semi-final of the 2023 WAFU B Women's Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

BSN Sports report that the Falconets wrapped up their Group stage campaign with three wins in three matches. The U20 girls walloped Togo 6-0, thrashed Niger Republic 7-0, and beat Burkina Faso 3-0 recording 16 goals without conceding.

Forward, Opeyemi Ajakaye contributed six of the goals, and leads the tournament’s goal scorers chart.

The Falconets will face Benin Republic on Wednesday, while Burkina Faso plays host, Ghana for a place in the final.
