Nigeria face Benin Republic in U20 Womenâ€™s WAFU B semifinal

Nigeria U20 women's national team will trade tackles with Benin Republic in the semi-final of the 2023 WAFU B Women's Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

BSN Sports report that the Falconets wrapped up their Group stage campaign with three wins in three matches. The U20 girls walloped Togo 6-0, thrashed Niger Republic 7-0, and beat Burkina Faso 3-0 recording 16 goals without conceding.

Forward, Opeyemi Ajakaye contributed six of the goals, and leads the tournamentâ€™s goal scorers chart.

The Falconets will face Benin Republic on Wednesday, while Burkina Faso plays host, Ghana for a place in the final.
