Nigeria's Benjamin Frederick Wins Brentford U-21 Player Of The Year Award

Nigerian defender Benjamin Frederick has been named Brentford’s U-21 Player of the Year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The award was voted for by his teammates, who recognized Frederick’s impressive performances and commitment throughout the season.

Frederick joined the Premier League side from Simoiben Football Club in May 2024 and has since been training with the first team, although he is yet to make his senior debut under manager Thomas Frank.

The 19-year-old previously featured for Nigeria’s Flying Eagles at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
