Nigeria table tennis youngster Mattew Kuti made all the headlines in the World Table Tennis Youth Series currently going on in Cairo Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The 11-year old Kuti making his WTT Youth Series debut took down both the U13 and U11 Boys' Singles titles.

It's a remarkable achievement for the 11-year-old who defeated top seed Steven Moreno 3-1 (5-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-8) for the U13 title and Vivaan Dave 3-1 (11-7, 7-11, 11-6, 11-6) in the U11 event.

"I am extremely happy and excited to win the titles. Playing with high-level players here in Cairo is a big pleasure for me.

" Being the champion for two age categories was not easy, I tried so hard to prove that I am doing my best.

"I am very proud to represent my country Nigeria. I will keep fighting to improve my skills and claim more titles in the future", he said after the games.
