Nigeria's U18 D'Tigers, D'Tigress Arrive In Côte d'Ivoire For FIBA U18 AfroBasket Championship

Nigeria's Junior D'Tigers and Junior D'Tigress, have arrived in Côte d'Ivoire ahead of the 2026 FIBA U18 AfroBasket Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian contingents touched down in the host country on Monday as they stepped up preparations for the continental showpiece, which will run from August 5 to 16.
The championship will bring together Africa's top young basketball talents, with Nigeria aiming to make a strong impression in both the men's and women's competitions.
The Junior D'Tigers and Junior D'Tigress will be looking to build on their preparations and deliver impressive performances as they compete against some of the continent's best youth teams.
Nigeria's participation in the tournament is expected to provide another platform for the country's emerging basketball stars to showcase their abilities and continue the nation's rich tradition in African basketball.
Both teams are now focused on their opening fixtures as they begin their quest for continental honours in Côte d'Ivoire.
