Nigerian Forward Makes History In MLS

Former Flying Eagles forward Ibrahim Aliyu made history with his latest strike for MLS side Columbus Crew, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Aliyu scored his second goal of the season in the Crew’s 2-1 win over Vancouver Whitecaps, finding the net after just 68 seconds of play — the second-fastest goal in the franchise’s regular-season history.

The 23-year-old forward joined Columbus Crew in April from fellow MLS team Houston Dynamo and has made eight league appearances for the Black and Gold.
