Nigerian Forward Not Certain On Trabzonspor Stay

Nigerian international Anthony Nwakaeme has expressed uncertainty over his future at Trabzonspor amid ongoing speculation linking him with a possible exit during the winter transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nwakaeme’s future has been a subject of discussion since the start of the year, with reports suggesting the experienced forward could be on the move before the close of the transfer window.

Speaking after Trabzonspor’s 2-1 victory over Kasimpasa on Friday evening, the Nigerian addressed the situation, admitting that his future remains unclear.

“We won, we’re happy. The team is happy, Trabzon is happy. When we get three points, we are very happy, and our city is happy too,” Nwakaeme said.

“I’m still healthy, I can play, I can run, but you never know what will happen in football.”

The former Super Eagles winger further stated that the final decision regarding his future rests with the club’s hierarchy.

“Our coach and president will make the decisions here. Whatever happens at the end of the day, whether I stay or go, we’ll all see together,” he added.

Nwakaeme has been an influential figure at Trabzonspor over the years, and his comments are expected to further fuel speculation as the transfer window progresses.
