Nigerian Players Abroad :Adebayo Features, As Luton Town Lose To 10- Man Spurs

Nigeria-born forward, Elijah Adebayo featured for Luton Town as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to 10-man Tottenham Hotspur, on Saturday afternoon, in a Premier League Matchday 8 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The game was the Nigerian-born forward 8th appearance of the season. And also was a game that he won't remember for a long time, after he missed a sitter that could have given Luton Town the lead in the 49th minutes. 

Spurs were reduced to 10 players after Yves Bissouma was sent off after receiving a second yellow card four minutes into first half added time.

But it was Spurs who took the lead in the 52nd minute thanks to Micky Van de Ven off and assist from James Maddison.

Spurs, on 20 points, go top of the league for the first time since August 2022 and remain unbeaten after eight games.
